THE 5 DIVINE MANDATES Written by David L. Anderson IregbuAn extract of my Audio message the five divine mandatesChapter 1MANDATE“And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth”Genesis 1:28 When God made man, he commissioned him to accomplish five specific tasks on earth. These tasks are the actions that define his ministry. Whatever our personal ministries are, they sure center on these five commands from God. Mandates are not optional they are commands from God, and commands are orders from higher authority mandatorily to be obeyed. When we talk of mandates, we are talking of divine tasks conferred and mandated on man to accomplish. They are his reasons or purpose for coming to earth. They are as well God’s purpose and plan for creating and placing him on earth. They are God given mandate, and a must to accomplish, if you must live a victorious life on earth. Reading the scriptures above you will find all the mandates outlined, which we will discuss. These commissions were not only for Adam; everyone born on earth is born and commissioned into it. Some could argue, base on new creation reality teachings, that they are not related to these mandates. It has become phenomenon that folks use the knowledge of the new creation to except themselves from certain commands from God. I would clear like to make it clear that this command is in fact particularly, most relevant to the new creation. In Genesis 1:26 there the bible says, “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth” Here God said, “let us make man- singular” and he goes on to say “and let them (men- plural)” If he was referring to man being one singular person, how come at the same time he talked of him as plural being more than one person? The man singular man came from the Hebrew word ish’ which talks of the spiritual being made in the image and likeness of God. He was made in God’s class to be God and function as God would here on earth. In fact, he was God personified and the effulgence of God’s glory. And when God wanted to reveal one of the aspects of the mandate which is the dominion mandate, he said, “and let then have (receive and possess) dominion” By this statement, God made known another aspect of this mandate that is the multiplication or procreation mandate. By this, God commissioned him to procreate his kind, fill the earth with the God kind, the perfect, and sin free persons, made in the image and likeness of God, the effulgence of his glory and the sons of God. They were in him (the man) so when God was talking about the man he saw the countless multitudes of the God seeds in his loins. Therefore, when he spoke he referred to them as well. “And as I may so say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham.For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him”Hebrews 7:9-10 Hence, they were the “them” I would have you understand something further, when God said, “And let them have dominion….” That does not imply they received it, because at this point, God has not created the man in whom are all the deposits of the seeds of his kind to whom the words were as well directed to. It is in verse 27 we learn that God backed up those words with action, “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them” Note the adverb “So” the sentence started with, the adverb there is a determiner that describes an action of God. This simply tells that GOD created the man, the ish’ in verse 27. He created him them, male and female (men and women” by his word. The man is a product of his word, because he was made by the word. They do not get it until he gives it, and he only said let us make man. He was only talking to the rest of the Godhead, speaking to them of what they three already agreed upon, at the same time making their purpose and foreordained plan known to us. That God would create us, “ish’ ” How does it answer the new creation argument? The man is the image of God’s glory, the perfect manifestation of God and of the effulgence of his glory, which was lost. Christ came as the last of the kind of this man, which is why he is called “the last Adam” meaning the last of the man created in the image of God, the effulgence of God’s glory and the perfect manifestation of his person, to restore the mandate that was lost, and to give birth to the very seeds talked of that were deposited in the first man. Christ came in place of the first man, not in the fallen, but in the perfect nature, and by his death and resurrection he gave birth to the seeds, he procreated himself-the church-the new creation. “Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand”Isaiah 53:10 He restored the mandates and handed it to the new creation and told us, “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature”Mark 16:15-20 Get my message on this topic and you will get more details on the reformation of this mandates. The new creation is the restoration of the effulgence of God’s glory, the perfect image of God his maker. He is now the ish’ commissioned to execute the very mandates in his mark 16:15-20 which when you listen to the tape you will see it centers on the same mandate of Genesis chapter 1:28.

CHAPTER 2 There were certain things God had to put in place before commissioning the man. The first one is: “And God blessed them…”GOD BLESSED THEM When it says, “and God blessed them” what that means is, that God empowered them with supernatural enablement like skill and potential, favor, wealth and certain extraordinary embedded abilities to make or effect changes and  to succeed in actualizing the mandates. Exodus 35:29-35 and 1 Corinthians 12:4-11 In order words, he gave us every needed potentials and resource abilities and materials both spiritual and physical to fulfill the mandates, so that none will ever give an excuse for failure. “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ” Ephesians 1:3 This is why it is said, that no man is empty vessel. Everyone is embedded and blessed with certain abilities and skills. These abilities are for fulfilling the divine mandates.
The second one is: “and God said unto them”GOD SAID Remember I said earlier, that what God said in verse 26 of the Genesis chapter 1 does not imply he gave them dominion mandate at that point. It was only when “God said unto them” that they received it. The term “ and God said” is AN ACT OF DIVINE CONFERMENT IN WORD OF THE DIVINE RIGHT TO EXECUTE THE SAID MISSION HERE ON EARTH, BY DELEGATION OF GOD’S SOVEREIGN AUTHORITY OVER THE EARTH HE MADE BY HIS WORD. Man does not have the right to earth to execute his mandate unless God gives it to him. Hence, there was need for it and God gave the first man and his seeds his own creator authority and right to the earth to fulfill the mandates. To fulfill this very mandates entails that man would by God’s authority have authority over the earth and everything in it, because that right and authority is the creator’s sovereign right and authority over all the works of his hand. Psalms 8:6 testifies to it saying, “Thou makest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; Thou hast put all things under his feet :”( ASV)“Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet: (KJV) The term madest or makest as applied in the both translations denotes, that God confer on him and positioned him in the God’s place on earth with the divine right and authority to have mastery over the earth and to rule over it and everything in it. Before God put man on earth for the assignments, he first empowered or enabled him for it, with supernatural abilities; secondly, he gave him the right to do that which he is commissioned to fulfill. If you want to establish a business in any country, firstly you need to equip yourself with information about the very land concerning their laws and regulations. To fulfill your mission on earth you need to know what God’s word says concerning your destiny and purpose on earth, and how to go about them. You also need to be skilful in that business. The business skill itself is ability. Moreover, you need to acquire the right to do the business in that country from the government that owns the land. Everyone on earth has inborn abilities, potentials or talents. Everyone is blessed with single or multiple potentials. The essence of the potentials is simple, not just to be famous, to enrich yourself or to be a star. The essence is to be able to fulfill the mandates with ease and with tremendous results. However, we are so blessed with the supernatural enablement, but we still have need of the right to fulfill our assignments on earth so that we can possess wherever the sole of our feet shall touch, on earth. You just cannot walk up to any church; take up microphone and start preaching, unless the pastor or the church authority gives you the right and authority. Everyone needs the God supreme creator’s right and authority to accomplish the divine missions here on earth. Therefore, God confer on them that right and authority via his word. The right and authority was placed on them, by the spoken word.
What is this God right and authority you need? John 1:3 says, “All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made” Understand this, the pronoun him is a reference to the person of the word. By now, Jesus was not yet flesh, so he was the word an invisible and immaterial personality in God that functions mightily when God speaks. “And the Spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and set me upon my feet; and I heard him that spake unto me”Ezekiel 2:3 (ASV)“He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions”Psalms 107:20 (KJV) When John 1:3 said, “All things were made by him” simply implies all things were created by and through as the channel and resource material to create all things. The term “By him” implies he is the direct creator who had direct contacts with the created before and after creation because creation was already in him before the foundation of the world, while the term “through him” implies he is the medium though which everything was created, and without him nothing made would have been made. This simply means that he is God’s right, and authority, access and channel to the earth. “For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him”Colossians 1:16 (KJV)“for in him were all things created, in the heavens and upon the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things have been created through him, and unto him”Colossians 1:16 (ASV)
The word of God is the God authority over the earth and his right to it, because his word created all things, and becomes his right of ownership and authority over this very earth. “And God said, Let there be light: and there was light”Genesis 1”3 (KJV)“By the word of Jehovah were the heavens made, and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth”“For he spake, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast”Psalms 33:6, 9 (ASV) Therefore, when God spoke to them in that Genesis 1:28 he gave them his word, his right of ownership, authority over the earth and right to walk and function in it. By his word, he gave them the earth to possess and walk upon it. That was how Adam got it. He got it spoken, but that will not be the same with you. For you, you would have to know the word, identify and accept the word in your life. For that to happen, firstly, the word had to become flesh. “And the Word was made flesh…” John 1:14 (KJV) Do you know what that means? The God’s right of ownership over the earth and his right to it became flesh, visible, human form and tangible for you. Adam lost it, but here it came to us in flesh and tangible. When he came, he had contact with us and we had contact with him, so that by accepting him into our lives we would have received the full right of ownership over the earth and the right to fulfill our God given mission on earth. “That which was from the beginning, that which we have heard, that which we have seen with our eyes, that which we beheld, and our hands handled, concerning the Word of life”John 1:1 (ASV)“But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, [even] to them that believe on his name:”John 1:12 (ASV)













CHAPTER 3
THE MANDATES   Mandate 1The BE FRUITFUL MANDATE “Be fruitful” the term “be” is a verb expressing or denoting an action. In other words, god saying be actively fruitful in every area of your life. The verb also denotes you were created into such motion. You are in everyday of your life on such motion, then be fruitful. Fruitfulness is an act of being productive, prolific, industrious and dynamic in your marriage, career, business, ministry etc. When God created and you he made you in his image. Now, God by nature is productive, industrious and prolific. He is a productive God, and he made you in that same nature. He embedded in you everything it takes to be productive in life. God tells you to be fruitful base on what he embedded in you and base on his productive nature in you. Hence, he expects it to be natural for you to be productive. This is why he first use the verb “be” because such action is natural in you and you are already on such motion everyday of your life. A successful man is a productive man, because he is on the motion of fulfilling his tasks on earth. God defines a man’s success based on his achievement of his mandates. You are only fruitful when you are fulfilling your mandates and purpose of coming to earth.

MANDATE 2MULTIPLICATION MANDATE Here God commands us to increase. I know that folks interprets this term to mean increase in number. That is not exactly what he meant. Here he meant procreating or producing one’s kind and filling the earth with them, This is exactly what Jesus meant when he said to his disciples, “go into all the world and preach the gospel…” and “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations; ….” You procreate by preaching the gospel, the souls converted are procreated spiritually to be of the same species, the God’s specie with you. “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new” 2 Corinthians 5:17 The new creature there is a reference to a new different kind of specie. He is born of God through the preaching of the word. This is what is called being born again meaning he is born of the word. “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever” 1 peter 1:23
Now that makes him God’s specie and a child of the word of God. Because “Whatever has been born of the flesh is flesh, and whatever has been born of the Spirit is spirit” John 3:6 (Weymouth’s New Testament) The spirit in quote is a reference that he is in God’s class of specie. God has his own unique class, in it, he alone is his kind, and none is like him. “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth”John 4:24 In fact, he is the class, the class identifiable by the functioning of eternal life, where freedom is enjoyed and men can love and reverence him in spirit (in the nature of God and as the God’s specie) and in truth (in the knowledge of his word). “Now by “the Lord” is meant the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, freedom is enjoyed. 2 Corinthians 3:17 (WNT) The new specie is the image of God and of his word, the effulgence of God’s glory and the perfect manifestation of his person, just as Christ is.  “Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the Day of Judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world”   1 john 4:17 Note the john 4:24 said, “God is a Spirit” and not “God is a spirit” the later implies he is of the same specie and class with any of kind of spirit. Nevertheless, the formal means he is of a unique kind, far higher than all others and immune to them. He is self-existing kind, immortal, and all glorious in his omnipotence, omniscience and omnipresent, in his holiness and righteousness. Moreover, in his class he begets into reality the same seeds that were in the man’s loins, born not of the corruptible but of the incorruptible through the preaching of the word. You are God’s specie, the image of God and the effulgence of his glory and person. He commands you thus, to procreate or give birth to your kind through the preaching and teaching of the gospel and through discipleship. “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations; baptize them into the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit” Matthew 28:19 (WNT) Hence, you are commanded and mandated to procreate your kind through preaching and discipleship with the word, and fill the world with your fruits or kind. The gentiles today enjoy the Christianity because of the ministry of Apostle Paul. The Gentile and Jewish churches are the procreation of Paul and the Apostles. “That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power” Ephesians 3:6-7

MANDATE 3REPLENISH MANDATE The word replenish is translated from the Hebrew word, mâlê. This means to both fill and refill the earth. But is God really commissioning us to fill or refill the earth, because the term simply implies to inhabit or fill up what was once full but is now empty? I know that God is not repeating the mandate of multiplication, there must be something he is referring to. Some would attribute this to the theory of the gap, but if it is why would God still initially give the mandate of multiplication? Each mandate is specific, solely different and independent and unique. If you listen to my message the significance of creation, in the teaching reading from Genesis 1:2 I was able to define the spiritual significance of the waters and that the waters was referred to as the earth as well. Hence, it was proven that the earth and the waters were significance of peoples. You need to get that my message THE 5 DIVINE MANDATE a part of it is attached to this book. This book is just an extract of it. With this I make bold to say, that the earth to be replenished refers to people’s areas of lives, where once was filled with joy, peace, sound health, success, prosperity, fruitfulness and love, but is now empty and replaced with sadness and gloom, troubles and unrest, lack and poverty, sickness and diseases, bareness and hate. Now, God commissions you to refill or fill them with was lost. How would you do that? Jesus tells us how which confirms with the sub theme “and God blessed them” “…they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover” Mark 16:18 And Paul demonstrated this in Acts 28:8-9, “And it came to pass, that the father of Publius lay sick of a fever and of a bloody flux: to whom Paul entered in, and prayed, and laid his hands on him, and healed him.So when this was done, others also, which had diseases in the island, came, and were healed” Remember I said under the Sub heading “God blessed them” that that God empowered them with supernatural enablement like skill and potential, favor, wealth and certain extraordinary embedded abilities to make or effect changes and  to succeed in actualizing the mandates. The extraordinary powers or abilities to effect changes is the virtue of the Spirit in you and you can only effect change in people’s lives and conditions by laying hands on them to transmit and impart them with healing in their health, success in their career and businesses. The virtue or abilities come into effect when you by faith and in prayer lay hands on them on to transfer to them, the healing, success, and fruitfulness and breakthroughs virtues. Jesus said, when you do this, “…and they shall recover” the word recover implies they shall be refilled with what was lost; another word to it is they shall be restored. For the term refill is synonym with restoration. To be refilled suggest there is lack in one area or the other, in the society, in people’s lives and in the church of Jesus Christ, and there is need for it to be refilled with what is lacking. You are commissioned to fill up the hole of lack in their lives, by the application of the abilities he has blessed you with. This he commanded you in Genesis 1:28, the same Jesus restored and commissioned you in Mark 16:18 and the very same the Holy Spirit is willing to help you accomplish as he did with the Apostles, if only you will yield to him. “And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen” Mark 16:20



MANDATE 4THE SUBDUE MANDATE The word subdue means to have control and exercise mastery over. Mastery is a state of having power and the act of exercising the power and authority over something or others. The original Hebrew word for the term subdue is kabash which means to overpower the earth and bring into submission and bondage for man’s need. God by this mandate commands man to exercise mastery over the earth by overpowering and bring it into submission and bondage, for his own needs. In other words, enslave and have control over it to serve your own needs. The earth and everything in it is meant to serve your needs and not the other way round. Howbeit, a question comes to mind, is it the earth that is in the focus of this command? Because after creating the earth the scripture said, “And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day”Genesis 1:31 Note it says, “It was very good” it was not just good, rather it was very good. The good in the context suggests it was of extreme high rate of superior excellent. It was magnificently beautiful and without flaws. It was the exact picture of the earth in God’s mental vision. Why then the need to subdue what was said to be good, because by virtue of what Genesis 1:31 said, there was no need to subdue it, because it was already perfect, incorrupt, and submissive-obeying every command of God during creation. You can only subdue a rebellion and a revolt. At then, the earth was not in rebellion. Satan and his hosts were the rebels hovering and going fro and thro the earth. Hence the focus is the Satan and his demons. Understand this, man is commanded to have control over the earth and to overpower and bring to stop the activities and motions of the devils and bring into bondage under your authority. Do you ever read Revelation 13:8? “And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world” Jesus was slain or crucified before the world existed, and his blood lays the foundation of the world. The world stands on his blood, as the foundation upon which the world was established.  His blood holds the world, which is why he alone has the solution to the problem of the world. That is also why; he created the world, for him and through him This is why, if you are connected to this blood, no man that sets his feet on the earth can harm you in any way, because the blood on your side, speaks and fight for you. This is why God could boldly command man to have control over the earth and its wealth and to bring the devil and his hosts into bondage. Because the blood the price that settles and gives man the right to posses the earth and its glory was shed and was used to lay the foundation upon which the world will be established. Yes, man lost it all to sin, but when Jesus came to earth and died, he shed the blood, accomplishing physically what was done in the spirit realm before time began. “Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose”Matthew 27:50-52 When the blood touched the ground the blood foundation was restored to effect, and its power was experienced, on the earth. In Mark 16:17-18 Jesus restored the subdue mandate “And these signs shall follow them that believe; in my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover” Why saying “in my name”? Because his blood is the foundation of all creation. That is why when you call the name the blood speaks rebuking the devils, and they will flee. You are mandated to subdue the earth- have total control over it and to have mastery over the devils in your areas, in people’s lives and situations. If you identify with the blood, then you are in charge and not the devils. By the blood, you are covered and mandated to subdue.
MANDATE 5DOMINION MANDATE The word dominion spells the man’s royal power as king of the world to rule over every creation. The term speaks of man as a monarch and every other his subjects. The word dominion from the Hebrew radah to rule over. Dominion speaks of the king’s ruling power and his vast domain. God gave man the scepter to rule over all the works of his hands, that includes the fishes, the wild and domestic animals, the galaxies, the sun, the moon, the angels, devils, demons etc. Get my audio THE LOST DOMINION for more information on dominion. “Thou makest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; Thou hast put all things under his feet:” Psalms 8:6 (ASV) You are the king of this world with the absolute power to rule and determine its affairs both spiritual and physical. YOU ARE THE LAW AND THE AUTHORITY God placed on the earth, and it is only what you said that heaven would execute here on earth. Because you are the ruler of the earth. “And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven” Matthew 18:19“Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained” John 20:23 You are as well the king over the devil and his demons, to rule over them and determine their place. You have dominion over all things, mandated to rule over all as king with the world as your vast domain. Remember this; Jesus restored the mandates to us by his redemption through the shedding of his blood. You have to identified with the blood for you to be positioned in the five divine mandates. To be identified with the blood, you have to give your life to Jesus. Identify with the person who owns the blood and you are connected to the blood. Since the world is established upon Christ and his blood, you cannot fulfill this mandates unless you accept him into your life. The blood is the right and the qualification to fulfill the tasks. It becomes your sufficiency. The five mandates though lost were restored by redemption, meaning they were bought back with us by the shedding and purchase of the blood. “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot”1 peter 1:18-19 And we see the same mandates reactivated and confer on the church by Jesus  tag “THE GREAT COMMISSION” In mark 16:15-20 and Matthew 28:18-20
You wonder why the Satanists require blood to accomplish all their tasks. Because their master learnt it from heaven, that it was the blood of Jesus that gives life to the world, which holds the pillars of the world, that makes the world revolve and keeps it standing. He knows this; this is why he always requires blood. Would you like to surrender your life to Jesus? Just say after me: Lord Jesus, I am a sinner. I believed you died for me. I am sorry for my sins. Benson Andrew Idahosa (September 11, 1938 – March 12, 1998) was a Charismatic Pentecostal preacher, and founder of the Church of God Mission International with headquarters in Benin City, Nigeria. As the first Pentecostal archbishop in Nigeria, he was renowned for his robust faith.

PERSONAL LIFE
Born to non-Christian parents in a predominantly non-Christian community, he was rejected by his father, John, for being frail and sickly. He constantly had fainting spells as a child, and on one of his spells, his mother, Sarah, abandoned him at a rubbish heap presuming him dead. Hours later, he came to, and began wailing and was rescued by his mother. . He grew up in a poor household. Like most of the surrounding houses, his family home was a mud house. This reality denied him access to education until he was fourteen years old, when he was able to attend a local government school.

EARLY LIFE
As a youth, he got converted to Christianity by Pastor Okpo, and joined his fledgling congregation as one of its first members. He was very active in proselytising and converting many to Christianity. After experiencing what he believed to be a revelation from God calling him into ministry, he began to conduct outreaches from village to village, before establishing his church in a store in Benin City.

By 1971, he had established churches all over Nigeria and Ghana. Known for his boldness, power and prosperity-based preaching, as well as an enormous faith in the supernatural, he was instrumental to the strong wave of revival in Christianity and marked conversions from animism that occurred between the 1970s and 1990s in Nigeria. He is regarded by Christian foes as the father of Pentecostalism in Nigeria, and was the founding President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN). Many prominent Nigerian pastors like Ayo Oritsejafor, Bishop David Oyedepo, Felix Omobude, Fred Addo and Chris Oyakhilome were his protégés.

MINISTRY GROWTH
The headquarters of his ministry, Faith Miracle Center, is a cathedral that seats up to 10,000 people. Church of God Mission has branches the world over, from Europe to Africa to Asia to America. With his main task being evangelism, he launched Idahosa World Outreach television ministry (IWO TV), which was a broadcast reaching a potential viewing audience of 50 million people .

He is reported to have been used by God in performing many miracles, including healing the blind, and raising up to twenty-eight people from the dead at different times in his ministry. A claim made by Idahosa that he had raised eight people from the dead was dropped when challenged by the Advertising Standards Authority, who sought evidence that the individuals concerned had in fact been dead.

He was known for many notable quotes including “my God is not a poor God”, “your attitude determines your altitude”, “it is more risky, not to take a risk”, “I am a possibilitarian”, “A big head without a big brain is a big load to the neck”,”If your faith says yes, God cannot say no”, amongst others. Many of his messages on faith, miracles and prosperity remain a classic among Pentecostals.

He had strong links with international gospel ministers like Billy Graham, T. L. Osborn, Kenneth Hagin, Benny Hinn, Reinhard Bonnke, Morris Cerullo, Oral Roberts, amongst others; and took the gospel to 145 nations in his lifetime. At the time of his death in 1998, he was reputed as having preached to more whites than any black man, and to more blacks than any white man.

T. L. Osborn remarked on him as the greatest African ambassador of the apostolic Christian faith to the world.

His desire to meet the needs of the total man led him to establish several other arms of the ministry apart from the church. They include the Faith Mediplex, All Nations for Christ Bible Institute, Word of Faith Group of Schools and Benson Idahosa University which is currently under the leadership of his son, Rev. F. E. B. Idahosa. His wife, Bishop Margaret Idahosa is the current presiding bishop of the church.

CREDENTIALS
• In 1971, he earned a diploma in Divinity from Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas.
• In 1981, he earned a Doctorate of Divinity from the Word of Faith College in New Orleans.
• In 1984, he earned a Doctorate in Law at the Oral Roberts University.
• He was the founding president of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN)
• He was a member of the College of Bishops of the International Communion of Christian Churches.
• He was once the President of All Nations for Christ Bible Institute.

Wisdom is the most powerful and creative force divinely embedded in man to orchestrate and determine his now, tomorrow and to invent his world.

May I point this out: wisdom is from God: 

“For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him” Colossians 1:16

All the types of wisdom are originally from God’s wisdom, pure and acceptable.

For that, he is often referred to as the Spirit of Wisdom, which defines him as its originator who gives and teaches us wisdom. The same referred to as the Spirit of wisdom is as well, the Spirit of the Word, because

The word is the wisdom of God.

In Isaiah 11:2, Revelation 4:5 the bible mentioned the seven Spirits of the Lord or the seven Spirits of God.

“And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD”

“And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God”

In the hierarchy of the seven Spirits, the spirit of wisdom occupies the no 1 position. This denotes the place of wisdom as the primary or paramount thing in life, and the first that should be desired from him, the needful and the necessitated gift and nature ought to have in your life and the primary thing he is ever willing to give.

 Not that the other spirits are not important or relevant. They are importantly mentioned along with wisdom, because they are the very fruits of wisdom, which defines and reveals the act, nature, power and force of wisdom.

Without the function of these, you will not know wisdom, because they are the synonyms that manifest wisdom in our display of each of them.

Therefore, when we talk about the seven Spirits of God one must not misunderstood and misinterpret it to mean God has seven other Spirits beside the mighty person of his Holy Spirit.

Take note that, in mentioning the word “Spirits” the word starts with capital letter “S”

This undoubtedly implies the same as when you use capital letter G to God referring to the mighty person of God.

The term “Spirits” singularly refers to the mighty person of the Holy Spirit.

However, when we talk about the seven Spirits of God we are referring to the seven unique and outstanding natures of God through which the sovereignty, omnipotence, omniscience and the unfathomed mysteries and majesty of God are revealed, known and understood through the ministry of the Holy Spirit, who shares them with us.

The Holy Spirit is the originator and carrier of these, the moment you are filled with the Holy Spirit he fills you with these seven spirits.  

Another thing I want you to note is how Isaiah chapter 11 highlights these seven Spirits.

It started their terms with small letter “s” which denotes they are not the same as the Holy Spirit who is accredited with the capital letter “S”.

This simply apply the seven Spirits of God to mean the seven natures of the Holy Spirit.

In their hierarchy according to Isaiah chapter 11:2 the Spirit includes himself in the line up of the Spirits of God, as their source, and it is the infilling of the Spirit in your life which the passage interpreted to “shall rest upon him” that guarantees wisdom, Knowledge, understanding, counsel, might and the fear of the Lord in your life.

When the Spirit of God rest upon a man he fills him with these spirits,

Thereby making him wise and full of light!

This is why it is strange for a child of God to fail in life, because the Spirit is in him to give him knowledge and understanding on how to succeed in his life.

 Knowledge, understanding, counsel, might and the fear of the Lord are qualities drawn from the well of wisdom.

That is why Ecclesiastes 1:17 says, “And I gave my heart to getting knowledge of wisdom…” (Bible in Basic English)

The term getting denotes drawing from a source: you can only draw knowledge of wisdom from theoretical wisdom by the use of learning.

The knowledge of the wisdom of God is gotten through understanding the written, teaching and insight into theoretical wisdom in the bible.

Hence, the Spirit of wisdom also implies him to be the source of wisdom.

The very source that impart, embed and inbuilt the wisdom in man.

“….May give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better” Ephesians 1:17 (New international version)

Note: the Spirit of wisdom and Revelation is the same Spirit of the Lord. He imparts God’s own wisdom through revelation into all matters (spiritual matters, science matters etc).

Because the Spirit of wisdom and Revelation is the very Holy Spirit who gives the knowledge and understanding of God’s wisdom via Revelation.

The wisdom of God comes by Revelation of his words through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

That is why, the word of God contained in the bible is the Revelation of God written under divine inspiration.

And those that wrote it simply shared their insight and revelation under inspiration.

Hence, you can only know God and his wisdom through Revelation.

What do I mean?

Revelation is insight into a matter.

 A supernatural unfolding of accurate knowledge and understanding of any matter.

Another word to that Revelation is penetration into mysteries and dissolving all mysteries.

No matter how hard and difficult the situations, the Spirit of God through revelation gives the penetrations (breaks through into mysteries) and gives the accurate knowledge and understanding which diffuses and simplifies it, thereby proffers solution and the wisdom of it.

This is why Revelation is very important in our walks with God, because God is Revelational.

 He comes to us by Revelation; he deals with us on the basis of our individual Revelation of him. 

THE 7 KEYS

In this part, I will mention only 2 keys, in subsequent parts I will mention the rest.

KEY 1:  WORD BASE PERSONAL REVELATION:  Do you recall it was peter’s personal Revelation that led to the introduction of these keys.

In verse 13-18 of that Matthew chapter 16 Jesus asked his disciples of the public and general of his identity, and they said so many things, but when he asked them of their own personal revelation of him, they could not answer, because they could answer they had no personal Revelation of the one they have been following, except peter who declared out of his personal conviction that he was the Christ, the son of the Living God.

Hear what Jesus said in verse 17 according to Bible in Basic English, “And Jesus made answer and said to him, A blessing on you, Simon Bar-jonah: because this knowledge has not come to you from flesh and blood, but from my Father in heaven”

Peter’s Knowledge of Christ was by revelation that came to him, personally from God.

And up on that personal revelation Jesus in verse 18, said, “I will build my church”

Remember I said, that you are the church, and he meant upon this Revelation you should be founded and rooted.

What this simply means is that this becomes a force or a factor to receive from heaven.

You must have a personal revelation of God base on personal Revelation of his word.

This is why Jesus said in john 8:32 “you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free”

The truth is what God says and the agenda of God outlined in his word.

Your personal knowledge of this truth and the application of it is what will make you free.

Listen, by what Jesus did on the cross you are indeed set free, but your knowledge of the truth of what he has done and your application of the same via your confession and acting on it is what places you physically on that state of freedom.

It comes by word base personal Revelation, if y our knowledge is not base on the Revelation of his word, heaven will not respect your command.

When you speak and act base on that word base personal Revelation heaven will respond to your demand, decree, action and desire.

KEY 2: POWER: gospel of the kingdom of God must be backed up with power.

Power is most necessary in preaching of the kingdom of God.

WITNESS IS NOT COMPLETE WITHOUT DEMONSTRATION OF POWER.

For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake” 1 THESSALONIANS 1:5

The Apostles preached with power so you to must do the same.

Power is what enforce and manifest on the people agenda of GOD   in people’s lives, health, business, marriage etc.

What Is power? Power is a dynamic force or ability to create changes in people’s lives, situations, health, etc

Power in action proves the might, force, word and love of God toward the people, because it brings the needed change.

“And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen” Matthew 16:20

Heaven responds to your demonstration of power, because it seeks so much for one who can prove the authenticity and reality of its power here on earth.

If you have the Holy Spirit in your life, you are then loaded with so much power beyond your comprehension.

The power is meant to be demonstrated, that is why you have it. Apply it and heaven will respond to your application of it, because it responds to the power of God’s throne.

Theoretical wisdom is not the same as a natural or inbuilt wisdom, meaning inherent or inborn wisdom.

Inbuilt or natural wisdom is the wisdom that God embedded into man during creation; the same was God’s divine nature in man.

Every field in life has laws or principles that governs and determines its existence and success.

Then it is this wisdom that enables you through insight to have a total comprehension and to apprehend these principles, which are theoretical wisdom by means of studying and learning.

Your application of the principles is what brings you the desired results.

However, inbuilt wisdom unlike theoretical can not be attained to or acquired through study. It can only be divinely imparted or inborn.

It is that divine ability to invent and to give birth to a dream with clear understanding and knowledge of what the dream or idea is all about.

Besides, vision (dream), thought or idea is knowledge revealed about a matter but, if the knowledge is not understood and applied, it will remain a theory or just a thought.

However, no matter how fantabulous wisdom might be, wisdom is only but theoretical, until it is applied to work.

Because wisdom is meant to be put into action if not, it will remain a theory.

This wisdom is both an ability and nature in you that causes you to naturally have insight into the knowledge and understanding of theoretical wisdom of matters.

However, Theoretical wisdom is that insight into theoretical knowledge of a matter.

Theoretical wisdom can only be acquired through studying and learning in different or particular discipline (Secular, Religious etc).

Understand this: Theoretical refers to a theory aspect of something rather than its application.

It is a set of information or idea written, documented and taught which springs from the certified insight of others into a particular field, to explain a body of principles offered to give explanation to how something is done to attain achievement.

This is why theoretical wisdom being the theory aspect of wisdom, is a written idea or taught information, which offers and explains a body of principles on how to make success in your field.

For instance, the bible says, “Study to shew thyself approved…” 2 timothy 2:15 

Here Paul admonish to study, to study what?

To study the written word of God which is the theoretical knowledge of God’s purpose for your life, marriage, destiny, health, career and ministry, and the body of principles to apply to succeed in them?

What God‘s wisdom does is to give you insight (clear and deep understanding) into theoretical knowledge of a matter. That insight is the wisdom of that very matter or field.

Which is why the wisdom of God says in proverbs 8:14 “Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength”

The wisdom of God gives sound, healthy and productive wisdom.

Nevertheless, its productivity is only put to effect when converted to practical.

Practical wisdom is the ultimate aspect of wisdom.

Paul n his admonition meant, study (search, discover, learn and meditate) on the information from the word of God. The information therein is the wisdom (theoretical wisdom) from the word (wisdom) of God.

“But thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success” 

Joshua 1:8 

Here the wisdom of God speaks on how to be prosperous and to have a good success.

It gives the theoretical wisdom via the information written and outlined in the law, which is the principle of good success and prosperity.

It instructs to “meditate therein, to do according to all that is written therein”

 What is therein to meditate on?

What to meditate therein is the body of acquired knowledge or information (the theoretical wisdom) being the body of principles giving the applicable knowledge on how to achieve the recommended good success and making your way prosperous-durable prosperity in every aspect of life, being spiritual, physical and academic.

You must meditate on the theoretical knowledge and apply it to have that durable prosperity and good success.

Nevertheless, the theoretical wisdom must be converted to practical (doing) according to all that is written therein for it to produce the good success and durable (long-lasting) prosperity.

The fact there are good success and durable prosperity implies there are bad success and temporal prosperity

The term good success denotes a first- class, high rated, high quality and superior achievement.

While durable prosperity denotes long lasting affluence, wealth, or assets.

In other words, this is referring to making the best of the best achievement in life, in your ministry, profession, academic etc and acquiring long lasting wealth- riches, properties and finance.

Wisdom is superior; therefore, it will produce first class quality achievements of superior standard to any who applies it accurately in his or her academic, line of work, health and marriage and produce as well, an inheritance of wealth- materials riches and properties for your children to inherit and transfer to their own children’s children.

“A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children’s children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just” Proverbs 13:22

“The fallow ground of the poor yields much food, but it is swept away through injustice” Proverbs 13:23 (Revised Standard Version)

Did you know that the fool acquires wealth only for the wise to inherit it?

The wise enriches himself with the wealth of fools.

Haven’t you read it, “that the wicked gathers wealth only to be inherited by the righteous?”

Whenever wisdom is accurately applied it replicates the excellence of itself in the very field you apply it.

Nothing in life comes to you as it should or as God meant it, until you apply the wisdom or knowledge of it to work.

Nothing works unless it is put to work!

This is what God meant when he speaks of good success and prosperity.

Moreover, I am sure this is what everyone desires, the good success and durable prosperity.

The secret to making good success and durable prosperity is your meditating (applying your mind to think on the information) and applying the theoretical knowledge, which is the body of principle to attain to

 That first- class, high rated, high quality and superior achievement and obtain an inheritance of wealth- materials riches and properties in your life.

There are three divine laws to enforce in order to obtain the blessings of good success and durable prosperity, underlined in the scriptures below.

The law is a body of knowledge which provides information serving as principles on how to attain to the blessings of good success and durable prosperity, to which the scripture below states “shall come on thee, overtake thee and will set thee on high promotion and on high place of favor above all on earth”

These steps guarantee the blessings in your life when applied.

 Now the law says, “And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:  And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy

God” Deuteronomy 28:1-2

Law No 1

Hearken diligently: 

This phrase implies to carefully and meticulously pay attention to the information the law provides.

 An act of thoroughly listening, applying your mind with good sense to the information in order to observe.

The implication here is to give undivided attention to the very information that unveils the keys to the blessings, because in listening and applying your mind, you will discover the keys.

It comes via information like a nugget or a key point that unlocks the doors of success and favor to you wherever you turn to.

God is God of principles, everything about the kingdom of God works by application of principles.

God does not do magic, but he responds to right application of principles.

Principles are nuggets of information or body of knowledge on how to attain to that good success and durable prosperity.

This is why information is power!

Be particular about what you want and fix attention on its particular information.

Information is acquired by listening; if you do not listen, you will not obtain the information to produce the blessings.

Listening carefully and meticulously positions you to observe.

Therefore, you must hearken diligently.

For If, you do not listen diligently, you will not observe!

SEOUL, July 25 (Reuters) – North Korea test-fired two new short-range ballistic missiles on Thursday, South Korean officials said, its first missile test since its leader, Kim Jong Un, and U.S. President Donald Trump agreed to revive denuclearisation talks last month.

South Korea, which supports efforts by North Korea and the United States to end years of hostility, urged the North to stop acts that are unhelpful to easing tension, saying the tests posed a military threat on the Korean peninsula.

The South’s National Security Council said it believed the missiles were a new type of ballistic missile but it would make a final assessment with the United States.

Firing a ballistic missile would be a violation of U.N. Security Council resolutions that ban the North from the use of such technology. North Korea has rejected the restriction as an infringement of its sovereign right to self-defence.

North Korea launched the missiles from the east coast city of Wonsan with one flying about 430 km (267 miles) and the other 690 km (428 miles) over the sea. They both reached an altitude of 50 km (30 miles), an official at South Korea’s Defence Ministry said.

Some analysts said the North appeared to have retested missiles it fired in May, but two South Korean military officials said the missiles appeared to be a new design.

The launch casts new doubt on efforts to restart stalled denuclearisation talks after Trump and Kim met at the demilitarised zone (DMZ) between the two Koreas at the end of June.

U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and North Korean Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho had been expected to meet on the sidelines of a Southeast Asian security forum in Bangkok next week.

But a diplomatic source told Reuters on Thursday that Ri had cancelled his trip to the conference.

The White House, Pentagon and U.S. State Department did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said the test had no immediate impact on Japan’s security, according to Kyodo News.

U.S. national security adviser John Bolton, who has taken a hard line towards North Korea, made no mention of the launches in a tweet on Thursday after a visit to South Korea. He said he had “productive meetings” on regional security.

South Korea’s nuclear envoy, Lee Do-hoon, had phone calls with his U.S. counterpart, Stephen Biegun, and his Japanese counterpart, Kenji Kanasugi, to share their assessment, South Korea’s foreign ministry said in a statement.

Chinese foreign ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying told a briefing that Beijing had noted the launch, and called for North Korea and the United States to reopen negotiations “as early as possible”.

‘CLEAR MESSAGE’

After Trump and Kim met last month, the United States and North Korea vowed to hold a new round of working-level talks soon, but Pyongyang has since sharply criticised upcoming joint military drills by U.S. and South Korean troops.

North Korea’s foreign ministry accused Washington this month of breaking a promise by holding military exercises with South Korea. On Tuesday, Kim inspected a large, newly built submarine from which ballistic missiles could be launched.

“By firing missiles, taking issue with military drills and showing a new submarine, the North is sending one clear message: there might be no working-level talks if the United States doesn’t present a more flexible stance,” said Kim Hong-kyun, a former South Korean nuclear envoy.

Kim Dong-yup, a former navy officer who teaches at Kyungnam University in Seoul, said the weapons tested on Thursday appeared to be the same as the ones tested in May, which were less of a challenge than long-range missiles but “enough to subtly pressure” Washington.

But the South Korean military believes they may be new, because they travelled further. In North Korea’s previous missile test in May, the projectiles flew only 420 km (260 miles) and 270 km (168 miles) though they reached the same altitude of about 50 km (30 miles).

Audience members responded to Carter’s greeting with their own salutations but then fell quiet as he shuffled across the front of the room. Once he was seated, Carter asked those in the packed room where they were from and cracked a joke or two. And then he launched into his lesson, talking about his own struggles to reconcile the God of the Old Testament with that of the New, and then about Jesus’s Sermon on the Mount.

The room of sleep-deprived, unwashed pilgrims sat quietly, at rapt attention, hungry to hear.

“At this point in our history, we are lacking moral integrity and leadership in our political system. … I wanted to be reminded that that still exists and it will exist again,” said Keegan Kautzky, a 35-year-old agricultural program developer, who had arrived around 3 a.m. two weeks earlier and slept in his car, only to find out the next morning that he would be in the overflow room.

This time he arrived around 6 p.m. on Saturday, slept once again in the passenger seat of his sedan and ended up in the second row.
